Scott is WWE’s Vice President of Stream and Watershed Services and leads WWE’s growing stream management, stream restoration, and watershed health practice. He has been trained in multiple river restoration styles and uses this breadth of knowledge to provide a sound basis for design to mimic nature and balance anthropogenic needs. His design work has dealt with stream restoration, fish passage and barriers, mud flow analysis, scour analysis, water quality studies, stormwater management design, corridor planning studies, drainage infrastructure design, Federal Emergency Management Agency permitting, and low impact development. Scott is a registered Technical Service Provider (TSP) with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). NRCS approved him to offer planning, design, and implementation services in 23 areas of water resources practice related to streams and channels, wetlands and habitats, irrigation, ponds, and more. Scott is also able to assist clients with applications for the many programs and other funding opportunities NRCS provides. Scott is on the Colorado Trout Unlimited Executive Board, chairs the Glenwood Springs River Commission, and volunteers with many other environmental groups. He is a Professional Engineer and a Certified Floodplain Manager.
