Wright Water Engineers, Inc. The firm was founded in 1961 and has a staff of approximately 50 people who include senior level engineers, biologists, chemists, geologists, hydrogeologists, hydrologists, and scientists. SENIOR GEOTECHNICAL/CIVIL ENGINEER. Seeking mid to senior level Civil Engineer with experience in earthen dams and spillway feasibility studies as well as design, and construction.  Soil remediation and mine reclamation experience also desired.

Work independently and report to President. Prepare or oversee preparation of proposals, including scope, methods and fees. Ensure consistently accurate and timely client and management communication. Develop and maintain client relationships. Responsible for overall management of projects of all sizes. Supervise technical work of other staff on geotechnical/civil projects. Perform both routine and complex engineering analyses. Resolve complex technical problems independently. Make technical recommendations and decisions within project scope, including cost estimates. Mentor younger staff.

Qualifications

  • 8 + years experience in geotechnical/civil engineering.

  • M.S. in civil or geotechnical engineering or related field required.

  • Professional Registration in any state with ability to become registered in CO within 1 year.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel. Knowledge of CAD and GIS for interaction with graphics staff.
