Basalt Wastewater Treatment Facility 

Representative Project

WWE performed planning, permitting, and preliminary and final design of an 0.8 MGD wastewater treatment facility for the Basalt Sanitation District. The design included pretreatment, an extended aeration activated sludge system (oxidation ditch), clarifier and UV disinfection.  WWE worked closely with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment to obtain the necessary permit and the have the project completed in a timely fashion.
