Management Practice
WWE
has long been on the leading edge of construction site stormwater
management. In 1977, our Chief Engineer Kenneth Wright chaired a
committee of the ASCE, National Association of Home Builders, and
Urban Land Institute, which prepared a widely disseminated document,
Erosion and Sediment Control. In 1982, WWE authored a 3-volume
series on erosion and sediment control for the Denver Regional
Council of Governments. WWE also served as advisor to the USEPA on
the preparation of their manual on erosion and sediment control for
construction sites. In 2004-2005, WWE developed a comprehensive
guidance manual and taught construction site stormwater management
short courses around the United States. From 2004 to the present,
WWE has prepared over 50 stormwater management plans for industrial,
commercial, residential, and municipal clients.
WWE
has a wide array of staff to address your construction stormwater
management and construction dewatering needs, ranging from the
former head of the United States Bureau of Reclamation's
Sedimentation Division to former state regulators to a Ph.D. civil
engineer, who teaches courses on construction site stormwater
management. We have provided construction site services for
industries ranging from ski resorts to residential developers to
commercial and industrial sites.
