of projects such as potable water systems, water quality, water treatment,
watershed
management, reclamation and reuse, pollutant control, and other water resources projects.
Wayne oversees all design projects for our firm.
Wayne
received both his bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of
Colorado Department of Civil Engineering and still considers himself a
"Buff." He began his first engineering job in 1975
designing crane lifts for turbines for the US Bureau of Reclamation.

for the Arapahoe County Water and Wastewater Authority (water and
wastewater systems), Basalt Sanitation District wastewater treatment plant
expansion, Palisade Water Treatment Plant, and other similar projects. As District Engineer for the
Basalt Sanitation District and East River Regional Sanitation District
(Crested Butte), Wayne is very involved in
ongoing water systems master planning.
Wayne is also actively involved with
Wright Paleohydrological Institute as the lead engineer in the
investigation of ancient Roman use of water power in Barbegal,
France. He is studying aqueducts and water wheel use at this
historical grain milling site in southern France to gain some perspective
on ancient engineering practices there.
For 29 years Wayne has been married to Gail, a
volunteer manager of a non-profit organization. They
have a daughter attending Regis University and are active at their
church. Wayne's other activities include fishing, jogging, biking
and motorcycling.
