Thank-you
to all who have given us such great support! The
health and continued success of the Institute depends on the contributions
of the general public. A
public foundation’s financial well being is represented by many small
contributions from a wide variety of people.
We want to demonstrate wide public support. The Wright Paleohydrological Institute is funded primarily through private donations, government agencies and non-profits. For particular projects at Mesa Verde National Park, we have also been fortunate to receive funding from the Colorado Historical Society because of the important nature of the Institute’s work as it relates to water management of the Early Native Americans in Colorado. The
funds of WPI are put to good and efficient use:
generally for direct field work expenses, laboratory tests and
field supplies with professional time and labor being contributed by the
research participants from a wide variety of academic fields, agencies and
organizations. WPI
expenditures are well leveraged. As a public foundation and non-profit
corporation we need to reach out to the general public and, for that
reason, we request your support. |
