Waste Engineering, Inc. has been proud to receive two awards from the Consulting Engineering Council of Colorado:

In 1996, Waste Engineering won the top honor award for our Black Pine Mine Project.  The Black Pine Mine Project involved working with regulators to find an expedient approach to remediate arsenic tailings left at a mine site forty years prior to a current gold mining operation there.

In 1991, Waste Engineering's Aquafarm Associates Intensive Aquaculture project was a category winner.  The innovative project involved using Public Service Company heated wastewater for a trout-rearing facility.
