Pump Stations and Force Mains

WWE’s experience with wastewater pump stations and force mains covers a wide range of capacities and design constraints.  We have designed pump stations to serve a single home or commercial building, and to serve a 700 equivalent residential unit (EQR) resort development.  Design considerations for pump stations and force mains include redundancy, backup power, floodplain and emergency overflow considerations, wet well sizing, pumping capacity and force main velocity.  In addition, WWE is well versed in Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) design criteria and regulations that are applicable for pump stations with capacity of 2,000 gallons per day or more.
