Geographical Information Systems

WWE has staff to provide complete spatial data management and analysis services using tools such as GIS, AutoCAD and various hydrologic, hydraulic and funding models for water resources projects. One of the most important aspects of these services is that WWE has a sound understanding of which tools will produce the desired information.

ArcGIS is the preferred tool for use by districts that need to retain and organize information such as as-builts, water atlases, soil data, engineering reports, operations and maintenance tracking, discharge monitoring reports, water quality data, etc. Our field personnel are well versed in the use of handheld GPS units that seamlessly integrate into GIS. These capabilities can also be used for graphically tracking water and sewer infrastructure and maintenance.
